Genesys Widgets

Genesys provides streamlined, lightweight widgets for Genesys Cloud. By embedding widgets on your site, you can add customer support backed by your deployment of Genesys Cloud.

What is a Genesys Widget?

Genesys CX Widget is a customer-facing user interface that you can add to your website to add passive and proactive Genesys Cloud–based customer support. Webchat is a channel that you can add to CX Widget. More widgets will be made available in future releases.

Genesys Widgets provide:

  • Multi-language support
  • Context-driven agent routing
  • Fully customizable design
  • Easy setup and configuration
  • Support for Chat Transports

Browser Support

Genesys is engaged to support all major browsers, relying on standards as much as possible. The Genesys Widgets have been officially tested in the following browsers:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 and above
  • Safari 5.1 and above
  • Chrome (current or current-1)
  • Mozilla Firefox (current or current-1)

We also need to specify in more detail the browsers on which we are doing actual QA testing. We need to state notable limitations and differences for the different browsers. (I can think of emoticon character support for example).
