The following components are used by GIR. In some cases, these components have dedicatedinstances of the component serving GIR with a separate configuration. The difference between this list and the above list, is that GIR uses the following components without
code changes directly related to GIR features; as a result, these
are considered indirect dependencies.
Tip
Interaction Recording Web Services replaces the Web Services and Applications prerequisites for the Genesys Interaction Recording solution. It includes all Interaction Recording related Web Services features that are available in Web Services and Applications releases up to 8.5.201.29—for example, storing and managing recording files. It does not provide API support for non-GIR related Web Services, such as Workspace Web Edition.Tip
Minimum recommended version represents the versions that were installed and tested at the time of this release. [When solution testing starts,
Genesys may update contributing components to their latest available releases
regardless of whether or not there is required new functionality in that contributing
component to support the solution.] In most situations, earlier and newer versions
on the same release (for example, 8.1.4xx.xx or 8.5.2xx.xx) will continue to work properly.
Tip
The following components are used by GIR with specific changes to satisfy specific GIR solution requirements. While the components are designed to be backwards compatible, some GIR features cannot be provided without deploying minimum versions.
Minimum Recommended Versions
The following tables contain a list of the minimum recommended versions for Direct Dependencies and Indirect Dependencies. You should check the contributing product release notes for important product information. Contact Genesys Customer Care if you have questions about your prerequisite versions.
Important
- Click on the component name in the leftmost column of each row in the table, to see all released versions of that component ...including hot fixes released after the minimum version number in the table. For example, click Recording Processor Script 8.5.x to display all Recording Processor Script 8.5 release notes.
- For versions appended with an asterisk (*): You must update to this version to use all new functionality. Otherwise, an update is recommended but not required.
