Data masking in the Genesys Interaction Recording API might not behave as expected if the list of masked fields you define for the metadata.privacy.agent_fields and metadata.privacy.customer_fields settings contain spaces.
Workaround: Avoid using spaces in the metadata.privacy.agent_fields and metadata.privacy.customer_fields settings in the recordingsettings group.

RWS will not attempt a connection to Interaction Server if the api-multimedia-screenrecording feature is enabled but the api-multimedia feature is not.
Workaround:
Enable the api-multimedia feature for RWS if eServices screen recording is in use.
- To enable a new feature, follow the instructions in the feature definitions file. For details, see:
Enabling features in the Feature Definitions file.
Verify that the api-multimedia and api-multimedia-screenrecording features are enabled for the cluster. - Ensure the feature definitions file is read at start-up and then disabled after start-up. For details, see Ensuring the Feature Definitions file is Read at Start-Up.
- Follow the instructions in the Configuration for Screen Recordings section in the GIR Solution Guide to set the api-multimedia and other screen recording features for the contact center.

Interaction Recording Web Services (RWS) now supports MLM backup in unzipped format to both the Windows and Linux file systems. To perform unzipped backup to a Windows file system, make sure the useFullPathInMediaFileBackup option is set to false in the application.yaml file.
- Section: backgroundScheduledMediaOperationsSettings
- Valid values: true, false
- Default value: false
- When set to false (the default), unzipped backup to a Windows or Linux file system is supported. This option changes the format of the backup for both zipped and unzipped modes.
- When set to true, unzipped backup to a remote Windows file system is not supported. However, unzipped backup to a Linux file system is supported. This option restores the format of the backup as used in the earlier releases.
- For both values, zipped backup is supported to both the Windows and Linux file systems.
