How to "Self-Service" Provision IVR Profiles

You can use the GAX plugin to assign DID groups to the IVR profiles. Use this new functionality to:

• Provision IVR Profiles.
• Map DIDs to DID Groups.
• Safeguard a customer's your custom-provisioned DIDs—others may not use or change your provisioning.

You must have GVP_IVR_PROFILE_UPDATE permission.

Log in as a tenant and select the Voice Platform Profile Main Menu icon.

The VP Profiles main page lists all existing IVR profiles that belong to you (the logged-in tenant).
Commands just above the list (Edit, New, Delete, More) act on the selected IVR profile(s).

How to Create New IVR Profiles

Creating a new IVR profile requires completing two forms. Click New. Then be ready to enter information that the forms need:

On the Service Properties Page

• Initial page URL
• Alternate Page URL
• Click the + button (plus) near the bottom to add new DID groups. STEVE ASKS: Are these 2 notes for me, or for the user? NOTE 1: Actual DID Groups assignments is not implemented yet. NOTE 2: New IVR profile is not created from an OPS generated template yet.
• Save also moves you to the next dialog box.

On the Available DID Groups Page

• Select the DID groups to assign and click OK. Your selections appear in the DID Groups Assignments list.
• To remove an item from the list, roll the mouse over it and click the X on the right end. Gone.
• Save also returns you to the VP Profiles Main Page, which now includes your newly created / newly assigned DID groups in the list.
