Configuring new and updated configuration options and API operations

After migrating your Web Services and Application deployment, review the list of added or updated configuration and API options to decide if you want to maintain the default state of the options or modify them to match your deployment requirements.

Workspace Web Edition configuration option updates

The following configuration options have been added or updated in Web Services and Applications version 8.5.201.50:

API operations updates

The following updates have been made since Web Services and Applications version 8.5.2.50:

  • HSTS support: The enableHsts parameter is added to the enableSSL option for Web Services configuration. This parameter tells the browser to not accept any untrusted, expired, or revoked TLS certificates from the domain. This paramater is disabled by default. To enable HSTS support, see enableSSL option.
  • Multiple switch environment support: Support is added for a multiple switch environment, where multiple SIP servers can be deployed across different sites. Agents are able to call, transfer, conference, and consult across sites to different resources such as queues, experts, and managers. For more information, see Channel Resource API documentation and Contact Resource API documentation.
