Changing your password

For security reasons, it is wise to change your password regularly. Your contact center administrator might have configured your Adapter to prompt you to change your password on a regular cycle. However, you can also change your password whenever you feel it is necessary.

Important
If you are changing your password because your password has been compromised, contact your administrator or network security specialist.

Password validation rules

Your new password must meet the following criteria:

  • Length:
  • Valid characters:
  • Invalid characters:
  • Previous passwords:

How to change your password

  1. Click the menu icon.
  2. Click Change Password.
  3. Read the warning message.
  4. To proceed, click Change Password.
  5. On the Change Password screen, type the following information:
    • Username
    • Old Password: This is your current password.
    • New Password: See validation rules.
    • Retype New Password: Ensure that the value in Retype Password matches the value New Password.
  6. Click Change.

After you click Change, you are automatically logged out and then logged back in using your new password.
