Genesys SMS Aggregation Service is the Genesys text messaging platform. This platform can be used indirectly via Engage / MMM or it can be accessed directly via the SMPP API or the SMS Aggregation HTTP API.

This document details the SMPP API connectivity to the Genesys text messaging platform.

HTTP API Guides

Genesys supports two versions of the API. The first version described below uses HTTP POST parameters [1]. The second version [2] utilises JSON bodies. Both versions of the API provide the same functionality. It is left to the client to decide which suites their requirements best. For any advice please contact your account manager.
