Migration to 9.0.x

General comments

• ETL scripts—Please note that each new IWD release delivers newer versions of ETL scripts, and the path to ETL is configurable (GAX -> Configuration -> iWD -> Datamart -> YOUR SOLUTION -> <ETL Scripts Directory>). You must ensure that you are using the latest version of scripts. Any customizations must also be re-applied.

From 8.5.1x

Important

Migration of iWD Data Mart from 8.x versions is not supported.

Prerequisites

iWD 9.0 requires Java 1.8.

Support for Java 1.6 and 1.7 is withdrawn in release 9.0.

Post-installation—Configuring the Solution

Once you have installed iWD 9.0, for each configured Solution you must:

1. Navigate to iWD GAX plugin -> Business Structure -> <Solution name>.
2. Complete the Interaction Server JDBC URL and save the changes.

In a migration from iWD 8.5.1 to 9.0, you will need to manually move the following three configuration options from the [boot] section to the [security] section:

• iwdweb.tls.keyStore
• iwdweb.tls.keyStorePassword
• iwdweb.tls.validateCert
