Configuring TLS for iWD

Connections between Genesys components that are defined using objects in Genesys Configuration Server can be configured at three different levels:

  • Port (Connection)
  • Application
  • Host level

Levels are read by the application in the priority shown above, so port level has the highest priority. Genesys recommends setting all required options at the same level.

Connections between Genesys components

Port (Connection) level

Connection (client)

The Connection level is used to configure the client-side application. You must define all required parameters in the Transport Protocol Parameters field. All parameters in this field must be separated by semi-colons (;).

Port (server)

The port level is used to configure the server-side application.

  1. Create the port and set its listening mode to secured.
  2. Fill all required parameters (certificate, certificate Key and so on).
  3. Add additional parameters in the Transport Protocol Parameters field. All parameters in this field must be separated by semi-colons (;).

Application level

TLS configuration parameters can be set in the Options and Application Options tabs in the [security] section.

Host level

TLS configuration parameters can be set in the Options and Application Options tabs in the [security] section.
