What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Support for OpenJDK 8. See the Prerequisites section on the eServices page in the Genesys Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide for more detailed information and a list of all prerequisites. (CBP-524)
- Rich Media related API was extended with getRelatedEventId() which defines a correspondence between a sent structured messages and received reply for it. (CBP-522)
- Bot launching rate was significantly improved. Performance benchmarks are provided in the documentation and could be used for sizing guideline. (CBP-519)
- High availability elements now support reconnection to chat session in case of Chat Server failure, as well as correct handling of reconnection to Interaction Server and UCS. (CBP-511)
- Introduced two new configuration options:

Once the options are published I'll unhide the markup and delete the plain text option names below.- ha-chat-reconnecting-attempts specifies how many times Bot Gateway Server tries to reconnect the bot to the chat session when there is a Chat Server disconnect.
- ha-chat-reconnecting-delay specifies the delay between attempts when Bot Gateway Server tries to reconnect the bot to the chat session when there is a Chat Server disconnect.

Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
BGS now allows to use a Java library with a different version if such Java library is included with BGS/DMS installation package. Previously, such conditions could cause an exception in a certain rare cases. (CBP-570)

No special procedure is required to upgrade to release 9.0.005.05.
