Platform SDK for Java
The Known Issues and Recommendations section is a cumulative list for all 9.0.x releases of Platform SDK for Java. This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product. It includes information on when individual items were found and, if applicable, corrected. The Resolved Issues section for each release describes the corrections and may list additional issues that were corrected without first being documented as Known Issues.

When working with Java 10 or higher, there are some changes required to application dependencies for Platform SDK features to work correctly. This affects use of the Application Template Application Block LmsEnumGenerator (or any attempt to compile Platform SDK itself), as well as use of the Platform SDK Configuration Protocol and COM Application Block.

The standard Java PKCS11 provider in FIPS mode did not support TLS 1.2 or higher, as referenced here: https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8029661
This known issue was fixed with the OpenJDK release jdk8u212-b04.

The Platform SDK pom.xml files and code generation tools have been improved to allow compilation with Java 9+. Refer to the Platform SDK Deployment Guide for more information about this dependency.
