Sizing

This article describes the sizing requirements for your contact center based on the number of agents using Genesys.

Standard Deployment Sizing

  • Small (S) to Medium (M) enterprise is considered to have <=5000 agents
  • Large (L) enterprise is considered to have >5000 agents

Standard hardware requirement is as follows:

  • 4CPU, 16GB RAM, 32GB HDD for Standard GWS API VM
  • One VM: API (no WWE) + Platform service – can handle 1000 agents, login rate 1 agent/sec, transactions not limited factor

The following table provides hardware information for various agent volumes of usage
