Enable / Disable Voicemail Deposits

The privilege "Turn On/Off Voicemail Deposits for All Mailboxes" is added to the GAX Server during the installation of Genesys SIP Feature Server Plugin for GAX.

Use this privilege to manage access to the selection Voicemail Enabled in Genesys SIP Feature Server Plugin for GAX. Only administrators who have this privilege assigned can enable or disable voicemail for all users in the environment.

Note: The embedded administrator account default always has this right and it cannot be removed.

Assigning this privilege to an administrator

1. Open GAX Configuration.
2. Go to Home > Roles > Roles > New Properties and select Assigned Privileges.
3. Select the checkbox for Turn On/Off Voicemail Deposits for All Mailboxes.

With this privilege granted to the Role assigned to a particular person directly, or as a member of an Access Group, that person has access to the selection Voicemail Enabled in Genesys SIP Feature Server Plugin for GAX. Notes

• The selection Voicemail Enabled is unavailable to edit in legacy Feature Server UI.
• The button 'Edit' is removed from the Settings page.
• The selection Voicemail Enabled is available only in read only mode in the Feature Server UI.
