Enable / Disable Voicemail Deposits

Installing Genesys SIP Feature Server Plugin for GAX adds the privilege Turn On/Off Voicemail Deposits for All Mailboxes to the GAX Server.

Use this privilege to manage access to the selection Voicemail Enabled in Genesys SIP Feature Server Plugin for GAX. Only administrators who have this privilege assigned can enable or disable voicemail for all users in the environment.

Note: The embedded administrator account default always has this right—it cannot be removed.

Assigning the voicemail enable/disable privilege to an administrator

1. Open GAX Configuration.
2. Go to Home > Roles > Roles > New Properties and select Assigned Privileges.
3. Select the checkbox for Turn On/Off Voicemail Deposits for All Mailboxes.

With this privilege granted to the Role assigned to a particular person directly, or as a member of an Access Group, that person has access to the selection Voicemail Enabled in Genesys SIP Feature Server Plugin for GAX.

Notes

• The selection Voicemail Enabled is unavailable to edit in legacy Feature Server UI.
• The button 'Edit' is removed from the Settings page.
• The selection Voicemail Enabled is available only in read only mode in the Feature Server UI.
