Enable / Disable Voicemail Deposits

Installing Genesys SIP Feature Server Plugin for GAX adds the privilege Turn On/Off Voicemail Deposits for All Mailboxes to the GAX Server.

Use this privilege to manage access to the selection Voicemail Enabled in Genesys SIP Feature Server Plugin for GAX. Only administrators who have this privilege assigned can enable or disable voicemail for all users in the environment.

Note: The embedded administrator account default always has this right—it cannot be removed.

Assigning the enable/disable voicemail privilege

1. Open GAX Configuration.
2. Go to Home > Roles > Roles > New Properties and select Assigned Privileges.
3. Select the checkbox for Turn On/Off Voicemail Deposits for All Mailboxes.

• You can grant this privilege to a Role (which is itself assigned to users), or to an Access Group (to which users are assigned).
• Users with this privilege can access the selection Voicemail Enabled in the Genesys SIP Feature Server Plugin for GAX.

Notes

• The selection Voicemail Enabled is unavailable to edit in legacy Feature Server UI.
• The button 'Edit' is removed from the Settings page.
• The selection Voicemail Enabled is available only in read only mode in the Feature Server UI.
