VP Reporting Plug-in for GAX
The Known Issues and Recommendations section is a cumulative list for all 8.5.x releases of VP Reporting Plug-in for GAX. This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product. It includes information on when individual items were found and, if applicable, corrected. The Resolved Issues section for each release describes the corrections and may list additional issues that were corrected without first being documented as Known Issues.

Even if an IVR Profile template contains the section gvp.service-prerequisite, all options from this section are ignored when creating new IVR Profiles.

In large-scale deployments of GVP (with 10,000+ DIDs), users may experience up to 15-20 second response times when editing or saving DIDs in a DID group, through the GVP plug-in for GAX.

Resource Manager, in an active-active configuration, may not set the Record-Route header properly if the virtual-ip parameter (in the [cluster] section) is configured to an IPv6 address.

The Resource Manager MIB data (stored in a scalar table) for an active-active deployment mode may not reflect the correct number when RM is run in a high availability active-active configuration.

Some URLs used by the GAX Reporting Plugin use the default root URL: gax/, and if this default is overwritten in gax.properties, then those resources cannot be found.
Workaround: In the environments where the default root URL was overwritten, set the root_url parameter in the gax.properties file to the default value '/gax', with this line of code:
root_url=/gax
Alternatively, you can comment out the root_url parameter with this line of code:

In a graph that is generated by a Call Arrival or Call Peak Operational Report, which contains multiple partitions (such as hours), the x-axis text may overlap its boundary when you manually decrease the graph width. This is a display error that does not impact the graph's accuracy.

The Media Server DVD for the 17 April 2015 release of GVP 8.5.1 is missing the VP Reporting Plugin for GAX 8.5.120.30 in the Linux Installation Package (IP). That omission will be corrected soon; until then you can download the Linux IP through Genesys software download.
