What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • Support for users from other Genesys applications: Genesys users created and managed in Genesys Configuration Server and stored in Genesys Configuration Database can now log in to Genesys Intelligent Automation using their Configuration Server credentials. These users, referred to as external users in Intelligent Automation, take on Intelligent Automation roles and permissions, and are assigned Intelligent Automation companies corresponding to the Tenants to which they belong in Configuration Server (or a user-defined default company if they do not belong to a Tenant). If Configuration Server integrates with the customers authentication system, such as LDAP, Intelligent Automation can also authenticate these users through Configuration Server.
  • Expanded password change capability: Passwords for logged-in external users can now be changed within Intelligent Automation.

Resolved Issues

This release contains the following resolved issues:

WebIVR themes can now be deployed to multiple companies. Previously, themes could only be deployed to one company at a time. (SPCHSTRM-1739)

Multimodal Visual Optional mode no longer causes an error. (SPCHSTRM-1653)

The standard visual goodbye prompt is now displayed when a WebIVR session ends. Previously, the prompt was not displayed. (SPCHSTRM-1652)

When Standard Visual Switch menu mode is set to Visual Mandatory Off, an error is no longer generated and WebIVR terminates gracefully. Previously in this scenario, an error was generated and WebIVR stopped responding. (SPCHSTRM-1651)

Upgrade Notes

If you are upgrading to 9.0.003.00 or later, and are currently using dynamic CPR prompts, you’ll need to re-upload the prompts, including the prompts mentioned above.
