What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • The following Solution Control Server utilities are no longer installed by default with the SCS installation package:
    • mlcmd
    • logmsg
    • gstcukcalls
    • Scripts for gstuckcalls
    • SNMP utilities and scripts
You can install these utilities separately with the SCS installation package. For more information on installing a utility, refer to the section "Solution Control Server Utilities" in the Framework Deployment Guide. (MFWK-22481)
  • A new configuration option, force_host_network, to specify if the connection between Solution Control Server and Genesys SNMP Master Agent must be established through the local host or a network host. This option must be set under the Options tab of the SNMP Agent application. (MFWK-22423)

Resolved Issues

This release contains the following resolved issue:

From SCS version 8.5.100.40, if the host which has one SCS application in an HA is restarted, there could some chances that other applications running in this host might come up as primary even after restart and other applications pair will be as primary only when the machine is down for restart. As a workaround for this disable the SCS split-brain feature by setting 'haflip-detect-timeout' to -1. After this fix, the applications in host restarted will come up as a backup. (MFWK-22355)
