What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Co-browse can now proxy files that have a space symbol in their names. (CB-7215)
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
Co-browse Server now serves JavaScript (gcb.min.js) with UTF-8 encoding (with HTTP Header Content-Type: application/javascript; charset=UTF-8). This modification improves Co-browse behavior in rare cases when Internet Explorer is used to co-browse web pages in non-UTF-8 locales, such as Shift JIS. (CB-6998)
Co-browse now sets SameSite=None for stickiness cookies (see https://docs.genesys.com/Documentation/GCB/latest/Deployment/Stickiness).
With the new stricter browser policies (For Chrome, starting in Feb 2020, and starting later for other browsers), without this flag Co-browse stickiness will not work because Co-browse is on different domain than the co-browsed web page.
As Co-browse is an API that can be called from applications running on different domain, the proper level of control is at CORS access-control-allow-origin, which is implemented in the allowedOrigins option [link].
