What's New

This release includes only resolved issues.

Resolved Issues

This release contains the following resolved issues:

Jetty libraries are now upgraded to the latest stable version to cover potential denial of service attacks. (CB-7693)

To avoid the risk of Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attacks, the agent side parameter, gcbSessionServer now has a secure flag that prevents cookies from reading plain text in the intercepted traffic. (CB-7667)

The default value for the outputPattern logging option is now set to the same value as the predefined value. This prevents incorrect logging formats in the Co-browse Server log when using Genesys Administrator to configure Co-browse. (CB-7610)

Website storage is implemented to restore an active session between page reloads and page location changes between subdomains of the same root domain without cookies. This reduces the cookie footprint in the customer's website. To enable this feature on a website, set the instrumentation option, cookieFootprintReduce, to true. For example:

var _genesys = {
      cobrowse: {
            cookieFootprintReduce: true
      }
};

(CB-7593)
