Installation modes

You can install SIP Feature Server in one of three modes:

• Cluster mode works in conjunction with Genesys SIP Cluster, which supports extensibility through the addition of cluster nodes, each of which includes a single SIP Server and a single SIP Feature Server. This mode uses Feature Server to provision and administer dial plans.

• Standalone mode supports multiple Feature Servers for each SIP Server, using active-active N+1 redundancy to achieve business continuity and extensibility. This mode uses Genesys Administrator to provision and administer dial plans.

• Mixed mode is the same as standalone mode, except that it uses Feature Server to provision and administer dial plans.
