What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

• Genesys Softphone VDI Adapter running on Windows 11 now supports TLSv1.3. Previously, TLSv1.3 was only supported on eLux and HP ThinPro OS. (SOFTPHONE-1555)
• Genesys Softphone VDI Adapter is now supported on HP ThinPro OS 7 and 8 that uses Citrix Workspace App Client. (SOFTPHONE-1553)
• Beginning with this release, Genesys Softphone VDI Adapter for VMWare Horizon requires Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 64-bit 2019 or above to execute on Windows.
  • The Genesys Softphone VDI Adapter installation package installs this prerequisite on the target platform.
  • Download the 64-bit version of the Genesys Softphone VDI Adapter package to proceed with installation on Windows OS. For more details, see Deployment guide. (SOFTPHONE-1547)
