What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Media Control Platform now supports Google Text-To-Speech Neural2 voices. Also, a new option, vrm.client.grpc.tts.stripvoicetag, is introduced for user’s convenience in case Google Text-To-Speech has special treatments to the <voice> tag.
- By default, this option is set to false, meaning MCP keeps the <voice> tag with all attributes.
- When this option is set to true, MCP strips all the attributes in the <voice> tag. (GVP-46191)
- When single_utterance is enabled, Google Speech-To-Text no longer requires the caller to speak within 8 seconds. The limitation on the caller to speak within 8 seconds is now removed. (GVP-46186)
