What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Now GMS is able to manage a backup config server at startup using two new command line parameters:
- -backuphost: hostname/IP address for backup config server
- -backupport: port for backup config server
Example: {noformat} ./launcher -host primaryhost -port primaryport -backuphost backuphost -backupport backupport -app "GMS236" {noformat}
(GMS-8792)
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
When Context Services is disabled, GMS does not register to Configuration Business Attributes object changes, therefore reducing unnecessary Configuration cache updates. (GMS-8814)
GMS now includes the _CB_T_CALLBACK_ACCEPTED, _CB_T_SERVICE_START, _CB_T_CALLBACK_OFFERED KVP's in RequestUpdateUserData event when the customer is not connected during callback (GMS-8697)
Now the GMS Callback Strategy is able to manage HTTP requests with retry option (in Disaster Recovery use case) instead of using DFM that lacks of feature for retry mechanism. Add a new option to still use DFM in callback service definition:
- _enable_gms_dfm* = *{color:red}true{color}* (default), set option value to false to manage HTTP requests.
(GMS-8753)
