What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Genesys Web Services (GWS) 8.6 now supports Redis 8.2.2.
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues.
The interaction panel in Genesys Web Services (GWS) 8.6 no longer resets to the default minimum width when a new interaction arrives, when the browser window moves between displays, or when the window minimizes or maximizes. The panel now retains the last configured width across refreshes and new interactions. To enable this behavior, configure the following option in the interaction-workspace properties:(GWS86-1277)
interaction.panel.persist-left-right-ratio = trueThe Genesys Web Services (GWS) 8.6 no longer rejects attachments larger than 1 MB when email.max-attachments-size property is configured. The default upload limit now uses 64 MB (67108864 bytes) instead of the previous 1 MB limit, which prevents 400 Bad Request errors for valid attachments.(GWS86-1338)
The Genesys Web Services (GWS) 8.6 service no longer encounters a startup error caused by the OpenTelemetry.(GWS86-1343)
An invalid value in the cfg_hdb_table no longer triggers a “Requested cache is outdated” error for incoming requests. After enabling the environment variable GWS_FEATURES_CACHE_BYPASS_OUTDATED=true in the gws-service-platform service, the platform proxies requests to Config Server during the transition windows between “Ok" to "Outdated” and “Outdated" to "Ok”(GWS86-1352)
A GET request to the /api/v2/workbins?fields=* endpoint no longer returns a 400 Bad Request error when a CfgScript object includes an empty OwnerType value in the Workbin section. The Genesys Web Services (GWS) now parses the empty field correctly, and the endpoint returns 200 OK.(GWS86-1355)
Genesys Web Services (GWS) 8.6 no longer requires java-17-openjdk. Installation now succeeds with only JDK 21 installed.(GWS86-1358)
