Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issue:
SCS now uses individual timers for each host it controls and for which its connection to LCA on that host must be secured using TLS, to prevent SCS from remaining in the INIT (initialization) stage indefinitely at startup. Each timer is started when SCS does not receive host information from LCA, which tries to establish a secure connection with SCS. If LCA does not send its host information before the corresponding timer expires, SCS drops the TCP connection with LCA, and finishes initializing. Use the hostinfo-load-timeout option in the [general] section of SCS to specify the length of the time interval. Previously in this scenario, if any of the TLS connections between SCS and LCA failed at SCS startup, SCS waited indefinitely and never finished its initialization.
[general]
hostinfo-load-timeout
Default Value: 10
Valid Values: 10–120
Changes Take Effect: After restart of SCS
Specifies the time interval (in seconds) for which SCS waits to upload host information from any host it controls and with which the LCA on that host has a secure connection with SCS. If the timer expires before the host information is uploaded, SCS disconnects from the LCA on that host's machine.
