This release contains the following resolved issues:

The plugin now provides an option to enable or disable checking users’ following (friendship) status for Twitter direct messages. A new option, twitter.use-check-candm, is introduced to support this function. Administrators can set this option to false to stop the plugin from checking Twitter users’ following status. The default value is true.

Previously, the plugin always queried Twitter for users’ following status and it encountered the Rate Limit error at times. (SMD-6332)
