What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Improved Trending capabilities: Enables users to monitor and analyze terms and phrases within conversations in conjunction with a variety of search criteria to better surface and analyze unforeseen or unexpected trends to improve business outcomes and agent performance.
- Configuration Data:
- User lists now include only users associated with the context in which they are shown (for example, a list of evaluators will only include users with QM permissions).
- Changes to the Configuration Database have an immediate effect on the system (for example, when a user is given QM permissions, his/her name will appear in the evaluators list the next time you view the list).
- Preset views are now supported for users with Genesys authentication.
- Default Call List Order: A new configuration option that enables you to determine the order of interactions in an interaction list. The new sort options are: Descending by Date Added, Ascending by Date Added, Descending Alphabetical and Ascending Alphabetical.
- Database Optimization: Database storage can now be significantly decreased by not storing events that were not found with a high enough confidence.
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
When you open a text interaction after performing a search for terms in a SpeechMiner system that was configured without English recognition, the text interaction is opened as expected. Previously, the text interaction was not opened and an error is sent to the server. (PRSM-16526)
A user that does not have permission to view a specific evaluation session, can no longer view the same evaluation session from REST API. (PRSM-15930)
If the default login is set to Genesys (configured in the webServiceParams table), an error will no longer occur when you try to create a new user in the SpeechMiner UI. (PRSM-12492)
When a Coaching Session is created with an invalid time, the resulting error message is now visible. (PRSM-15671)
A new field DAYS_TO_UPDATE_EVENTS was added to SMARTConstants. If this field is null, all events are updated with strictness changes in SMART. If this field includes a value X, interaction events going back X days are updated. Note: Use 0 to not update any events. In some cases, events for interactions older than X days may also be updated, if the interactions have a higher ID than interactions that are in the last X days range. In addition, indexing as a result of event updates now runs at priority 3, instead of 1. (PRSM-17046)
When generating event lists from the SpeechMiner Search page or from reports, the resulting grid contains the correct number of events. Previously, the grid may have contained duplicated events. (PRSM-16710)
When exporting an audio interaction from the Interactions grid in the Coaching Sessions page, the specific interaction is now exported with its Interaction ID. Previously, the interaction was be exported with its External ID. (PRSM-16499)
SpeechMiner no longer freezes when you try to view a long transcription while playing an interaction using Internet Explorer. (PRSM-16048)
REST API services no longer send a data request when another request for the same data was already sent. (PRSM-16354)
SpeechMiner functions at an expected rate when working with Internet Explorer due. Previously, SpeechMiner functioned at a slower rate than expected when working with Internet Explorer due to the number of watchers. (PRSM-16364)
Saving a search functions as expected. Previously, saving a search took longer than expected.(PRSM-16424)
When the Interaction list is sorted or you select to view the new Interaction list page, the same search is no longer repeated in Lucene. (PRSM-16521)
All SpeechMiner roles now have the Edit Action Items permission. (PRSM-14637)
The Preset View option is now available to users defined in the Genesys Configuration Server. (PRSM-10766)
When working with Internet Explorer 10 and 11, the Media Player does now functions as quickly as expected when loading long interaction transcriptions (40+ minutes). (PRSM-14708)
