What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • Quality Management Reports - You can now select Creation Date, Updated date, and Completion date for three Quality Management (QM) Reports (Agent Evaluation Comparison, Team Evaluation Comparison, Evaluator Evaluation Comparison).
  • Quality Management Evaluations - You can now activate, but not deactivate, Quality Management Calibration and one time evaluations. As a result, multiple sessions are not created for different dates.
  • SpeechMiner Connections - SpeechMiner now supports TLS 1.2. This requires that the server is configured to use TLS 1.2 and the client trusts the server certificate.
  • SQL Support - SpeechMiner now supports MS SQL Server 2014 SP3.

Resolved Issues

This release contains the following resolved issues:

The roles an Administrator can grant to users is defined in the grantRoles field in the rolesTbl table (Note: more than 100 roles may hinder expected performance). When the list of roles an Administrator can control reaches the grantRoles field limit (256 characters), an error no longer occurs when a user attempts to add roles to this list. (PRSM-25170)

When upgrading a system with a large amount of events to 8.5.512.00 or later, the upgrade process no longer stops. (PRSM-25134)

In a Coaching session, the Search option now functions as expected. (PRSM-25024)

When you modify and save a Saved Scheduled Report, the changes are now saved. Previously, when a Saved Scheduled Report was changed and saved, the changes were not saved. Instead, after 15 minutes the changes were ignored and the specific Saved Scheduled Report reverted to its previous configuration. (PRSM-24953)

SpeechMiner now supports TLS 1.2 when the server is configured to use TLS 1.2 and the client trusts the server certificate. For this reason, SSL errors no longer occur and the UPlatform can now connect to the SQL Server. (PRSM-24732)

When more than 1000 characters are entered as an answer to a Free Form Question in an evaluation, the exported PDF is now formatted correctly and sentences are no longer missing. (PRSM-24815, PRSM-24716)

When a SpeechMiner Dashboard is created the selected dashboard name is not limited to a specific number of characters. Previously, when the user attempted to rename a saved SpeechMiner Dashboard, the same Dashboard's name was limited to 29 characters. (PRSM-24647)

Interaction Receiver no longer fails to process recordings with a valid .wav file format, no audio data and duration = 0. (PRSM-24644, PRSM-25135)

When an Exploration search includes an interaction that has at least one empty channel (with no recognized words in it), the Clustering task no longer stops functioning and produces results for the Trending web page. Previously in such scenarios the Clustering task sometimes stopped functioning with the following languages: (PRSM-24611)

  • Dutch - NL
  • Russian - Russia
  • German - Germany
  • Korean - Korea
  • Japanese - Japan
  • Mandarin - China
  • Arabic - World Wide
  • Turkish - Turkey
  • Cantonese - Hong Kong

When a user who is not a part of any Configuration Server access group makes numerous failed attempts to log in to SpeechMiner, other users in the system can log in normally. Previously in such scenarios, other users might be unable to log in. (PRSM-24489)

Measures have been taken to improve the potential security threats to the web application. (PRSM-24483, PRSM-25220)

When some interactions are played in the Media Player and a beep sound is heard after a sequence of numbers is played (that is, numbers that may indicate personal information), the Media Player will not move back to the beginning of the interaction after skipping the sequence of numbers. Previously, when some interactions were played in the Media Player, a beep sound was heard after a sequence of numbers was played and the Media Player may have moved back to the beginning of the interaction. (PRSM-24375)

When configuring the group weights in a Quality Management Evaluation Form with more than 15 questions, clicking Redistribute now evenly divides 100 among the groups. The group weights now add up to 100. (PRSM-24323)

When a user (with the correct permissions) opens an Evaluation created by another user, the Search filters in the Interaction tab no longer look like they have been reset. (PRSM-24039)

When you select N/A for a Quality Management form Scale question during an evaluation session, the total score is now calculated as expected. (PRSM-23541)

The translation of the word "Any" in the French Canadian SpeechMiner User Interface (UI) is now correct. Previously, the word "Any" was translated incorrectly in the French Canadian SpeechMiner UI. "Any" was translated to "Quelconque" when it should have been translated to "Tous" (that is, if what follows is masculine and in plural form). (PRSM-23675)

All strings in the French SpeechMiner UI were translated to French. Previously, numerous strings were not translated to French when the SpeechMiner UI was translated to French. (PRSM-23668, PRSM-24054)

When a QM Evaluation Session is exported, the text in the exported PDF is now formatted properly when the Free Form contains &, <, or >. (PRSM-23612)

When a topic strictness is changed, the strictness assigned to the topic's terms with a custom confidence is no longer changed as well. Previously, when topic strictness was changed, the strictness assigned to the topic terms with a custom confidence was also changed. (PRSM-23522)

When working with a SpeechMiner UI translated to Russian, the string for the on week of month option is now translated to Russian. (PRSM-22771)
